About
Dwayne Golden is a God fearing United States Army veteran, business consultant, software innovator, and community advocate. Since establishing his consulting business in 2005, he has dedicated much of his professional life to helping entrepreneurs, marketers, and families pursue meaningful opportunities and achieve their goals. His work reflects a commitment to the principles that continue to guide his life: Purpose, People & Progress.
Dwayne Golden is a God fearing United States Army veteran, business consultant, software innovator, and community advocate whose professional and personal life has been shaped by faith, family, service, and a commitment to helping others pursue meaningful opportunities.
Since establishing his consulting business in 2005, Dwayne has worked with entrepreneurs, marketers, and families, helping them identify opportunities, develop ideas, address challenges, and work toward their goals. His interests in business development, technology, and practical problem solving reflect a belief that knowledge and experience become more valuable when they are used to serve others.
For Dwayne, business has never been solely about building companies or pursuing financial accomplishments. It has also been an opportunity to develop relationships, encourage people, and contribute to the success and well being of individuals, families, and communities.
Dwayne's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Messiah University, general studies at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strayer University. This combination of scientific study and business education has informed his approach to problem solving, entrepreneurship, and technology.
His professional work has also received recognition. In 2001, he received Merck & Co.'s Award for Innovation for the development of a Physician Office Finder System for new pharmaceutical representatives, as well as the company's Fast Share Award. In 2005, HACC recognized him among its 40 Most Outstanding Alumni in its Circle of Distinction. Earlier in his career, he earned Ford Marketing Institute certificates in selling techniques and compact and full-size light trucks in 1988.
Dwayne's Christian faith has been central to his understanding of personal responsibility, service, and the purpose of his life. That commitment was strengthened through a serious medical crisis that began while he was serving in the United States Army.
At just 24 years old, he experienced life-threatening health complications that led to more than three years of hospitalizations, medical procedures, surgeries, and uncertainty about his future. During that period, he confronted questions about his family, his responsibilities, and what he would do with his life if God allowed him to survive. Those experiences profoundly influenced his priorities and strengthened his commitment to Jesus Christ. He came to believe that the abilities, opportunities, and time entrusted to him carried a responsibility to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others.
His wife, Patty, played an essential role throughout that difficult period. As a young wife and mother, she assumed responsibilities that neither of them could have anticipated. Their shared experiences helped establish a partnership that has continued through decades of marriage, raising their three children, and serving together through their faith and community involvement.
Dwayne regards his relationship with Patty, their children, and their seven grandchildren as among the most important parts of his life. He also recognizes that the sacrifices and contributions of family members are often inseparable from an individual's personal and professional accomplishments.
Dwayne's professional experience includes business consulting, entrepreneurship, software innovation, and developing practical solutions for people and organizations.
His work has included the Physician Office Finder System for new pharmaceutical representatives at Merck & Co., transactional and payment systems, webinar and educational platforms, digital currency kiosks, and AI business solutions. These experiences have shaped his interest in using technology to help people address real challenges.
Through his consulting work, he has helped entrepreneurs and marketers better understand their opportunities, improve operations, and make informed decisions. His approach reflects a guiding principle: “Place people where technology is weak, and place technology where people are weak.” He believes the strongest solutions respect human judgment, relationships, and the practical advantages that well designed technology can provide.
Dwayne's commitment to service extends beyond business. He and Patty have participated in Christian ministry and non profit community activities, including opportunities to serve internationally. These experiences reinforced his belief that serving others is not confined to a particular occupation, organization, or setting.
Another important part of Dwayne's personal development has involved reconsidering how he manages his time, responsibilities, and relationships.
For many years, he maintained a demanding schedule filled with business activities, ministry commitments, family responsibilities, and the needs of others. Although much of that work was meaningful, he came to recognize that constant activity did not necessarily represent the best use of his time.
Through reading, reflection, and the study of personal development and leadership principles, he has developed a greater appreciation for focused priorities, personal discipline, and the importance of maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Healthy aging, continued learning, and stronger family relationships have become increasingly important to him.
As he looks toward the future, Dwayne intends to continue serving others while placing greater emphasis on the quality of his relationships, the stewardship of his time, and the legacy he and Patty hope to leave their children and grandchildren.
Throughout his life, Dwayne has embraced three guiding principles: Purpose, People & Progress. Purpose represents his belief that life carries responsibilities beyond personal ambition and that the abilities and opportunities entrusted to us should be used meaningfully.
People reflects his conviction that relationships, family, service, and the well-being of others deserve a central place in how we define success.
Progress represents his commitment to continued learning, personal accountability, practical action, and the belief that individuals can keep growing regardless of their circumstances.
These principles influence how Dwayne approaches business, family, faith, leadership, and community service.
He does not consider his story complete, nor does he believe that any single accomplishment, failure, or difficult chapter adequately defines a person's life.
As he continues writing, learning, mentoring, and preparing for the years ahead, his intention remains to make thoughtful use of the time and opportunities God provides.
Purpose, People & Progress.
